Trip Stoupa – Kalamata

Starting from cosmopolitan Stoupa , going west ,you meet the traditional village of Kardamili with itÂ’s beautiful coast expanding across the whole area ( Foneas, Kalamitsi).
The road, through the roots of mt.Taygetos and green canyons , leads to Kitries, Akrogiali, Paliohora, Avia. These traditional housings with the pebbly and sandy beaches attract many visitors every year. After a few miles you reach Kalamata, a modern city , which is the capital of Messinia.
